We stand alongside WCWM in mourning the tragic deaths of so many innocent black lives. Our statement is a symbol of our solidarity in the BLM movement, and it represents our dedication to fight for equality and justice in this systematically-flawed country.
We recognize that there is a copious amount of progress that desperately needs to be made, and that the real progress comes when the fundamental systems in which we live and operate are questioned, discussed, and changed for the better. As citizens of the “United” States of America, it is completely unacceptable to be bystanders of injustice. Where there is injustice, there is human suffering. The fight doesn’t end when the protests end; it ends when everyone is finally treated equally.
